  1. Take 6 Arbi patta
  2. Get 1 1/2 Cup soke urad dal
  3. Make ready 1 cup gram flour
  4. Get 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  5. Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
  6. Get 10 cloves garlic
  7. Get 1 inch ginger
  8. Take 1 TSP cumin seeds, black pepper and 3 red chillies (all these make fine paste)
  9. Make ready 1 tbsp lemon juice & sesame seeds
  10. Get 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
  11. Prepare 2 pinch hing
  12. Get as needed Oil
  13. Get to taste Salt
Steps to make Arbi Patta Roll:
  1. Take soft tender leaves of arabi,break there stems and wash them under fresh running water strain all the water from the leaves.take a jar add soke urad daal,ginger or garlic and make it fine paste.
  2. Now take a big bowl add daal paste,gram flour,spice paste, turmeric,red chilli,salt,lemon juice and mango powder.make thick batter with water. Rest for it 10 min.
  3. Keep the Arabi patta on plan surface or chhoping board and apply thin layer of batter over it.cover it with another leave and again apply a coat of batter.follow thish until all the leaves are covered.then before roll the leaves edge and after start roll any side and seal the ends by applying a coat of batter.
  4. In a large pan pour 1 litre of water and place the roll over a sieve, cover it with a lid and steam it for 15-20 mintues. Alternatively one can use a steamer. - To know if it is cooked or not, take a knife and poke it in the roll. If it comes out clean then the roll has been properly steamed. Take it out and cut small round from the roll.
  5. Take 1 TBS oil in karahi and heat it now add hing after 10 sec. Add sesame seeds give a stair after 30 sec. add rolls and fry them. is rolls ready. Serve it with green chutney or coconut chutney.
