  1. Make ready 20-22 Spinach leaves fresh and medium size leaves
  2. Take 150 gms Gram flour– (Besan)
  3. Take 1/2 Tsp Red Chilli powder–
  4. Take 1/4 Tsp Garam masala powder–
  5. Take 1 Tsp Chaat masala–
  6. Make ready 1/2 Tsp Ajwain– (carom seeds)
  7. Get 1/4 Tsp Turmeric–
  8. Take to taste Salt
  9. Make ready As needed Oil–for frying
Instructions to make Palak Patta Pakora:
  1. Wash and dry the spinach leaves.
  2. In a wide pan make a thick batter by mixing besan, turmeric, ajwain, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and 1/2 tsp chat masala powder and some water.
  3. Heat oil in a wok.
  4. Dip each spinach leaf in batter to coat it evenly. Drop the leaf gently in the oil and fry it on a medium heat till the pakoras are crisp.
  5. Remove and drain on tissue paper.
  6. Sprinkle chat masala on palak pakoras and serve them hot with tomato sauce along with a cup of hot masala chai.
