  1. Firstly peel the skin of the carrots & grate finely, keep aside.
  2. In a kadai heat ghee & fry the chopped cashews, almonds,keep them aside.
  3. In the same ghee add the grated carrots & saute well,until it changes colour slightly.
  4. Now pour the milk & give a good stir.Boil for 10mints stirring occasionally until the carrots are cooked well & milk reduced.
  5. Once the milk thickens completely add the sugar & mix well.
  6. Pour the milkmaid, khoya kheer & mix well.
  7. Cook until the halwa thickens & ghee releases from sides.
  8. Now turn off the flame, sprinkle cardamom powder & fried nuts.
