  2. Prepare 1 big tomato chopped

  11. Get 1/2 tbsp Simbu / fennel seeds
  12. Get 3 dried red chillies
  13. Take 1 1/2 tbsp roasted bengal gram dal
  14. Take 7 garlic flakes
  15. Prepare 1 inch ginger
Instructions to make Kuruma for Parotta:
  1. Grind the ingredients under "For grinding" into a fine paste. - Heat the oil in a pan add cloves and cinnamon sute for 2 seconds. - Add onion cook till appear translucent,then add tomatoes and green chillies saute them till it become mushy.
  2. Add water and turmeric boil it for 7 minutes, then mix coconut paste mix in the boiling water stir well, adjust the consistency by adding water, boil it for 5 minutes.
  3. Then add crushed boiled potatoes and salt allow to boil for 7 minutes.
  4. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, serve hot with parotta.
  5. Don't mash the potatoes just crush it with hands. - Remove the boiled potato and ginger skin before use in recipe. - I used curry leaves for garnish.
  6. Adjust the chillies as per the taste.
