  2. Take 1 large onion
  3. Make ready 1/4 cup coarse bulgur
  4. Make ready 1/4 cup olive oil
  5. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon salt

#Khibaizeh:

  1. Pick out the yellow leaves from the cheeseweed greens (if any) then wash & dry from excess water. Chop the leaves
  2. Next peel & dice the onion. Wash the bulgur and strain
  3. In a large saute pan, add the olive oil & saute onion until it turns a golden colour. Add the cheeseweed greens & stir for 2-3 minutes until wilted, add in bulgur and salt to taste
  4. Stir the ingredients, then simmer over low heat for 10 -15 minutes
  5. Transfer to a flat serving dish & garnish with crispy carmelized onions. Serve cold with a squeeze of lemon juice and fresh spring onions
