The ingredients needed to make Churmu:
  1. Prepare 2 cup whole wheat flour (coarse)
  2. Prepare 3 tbsp Ghee
  3. Get 2 tbsp Kesariya Milk Masala (see recipe)
  4. Get 1 cup powdered sugar
  5. Prepare 1/2 cup hot ghee

In Punjab, the dish is called churi. It is coarsely ground wheat crushed and cooked with ghee and sugar. Traditionally it is made by mashing up bajri or wheat flour baatis or rotis in ghee and jaggery. Then peel the skin and slice them.

Steps to make Churmu:
  1. Take flour and ghee together. Bind it with some water.
  2. Roast it on the gas oven until it becomes golden.
  3. Roughly crush it. Add Kesariya Milk Masala, sugar and ghee. Mix it gently. Ready to serve with Daal-Bati.
