- Prepare 3 tbsp ghee
- Prepare 1 cup Rava/ semolina (fine)

Heat water in another pan with turmeric. When it come to boil, turn to low heat and add the rava slowly into the water and stir in circular motion briskly. Rava Kesari Bhath/Sooji Halwa Recipe is a pudding made from semolina, flavored with saffron and other spices topped with nuts. Steps to make "Rava Kesri Halwa":
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee and roast all dry fruits on low flame until slightly golden and keep it aside.
- Now in the same ghee roast rava on low flame for 5 minutes or till it turns aromatic. Keep aside. (Remember rava don't cover cook and don't brown it)
- In a pan boil 2 cups water. keeping the flame on low add roasted rava.stair continuously till rava absorbs water and no lumps are formed.
- Further add sugar keeping the flame on low stir well till the sugar dissolves.
- Now add 2cup saffron milk and 3tbsp ghee and stir continuously. Make sure the mixture is combined well and no lumps are formed.
- Cover and simmer for 2 minutes or till rava get cooked well completely.
- Finally add roasted dry fruits and mix well till the rava kesri separate from the pan.
- Serve it hot.
