- Take 1 tea spoon Red chilli powder
- Prepare Finally chopped green chilli two

- Take 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
It is prepared with spinach, chana dal, ginger, green chillies and few more ingredients. You can prepare it just after the arrival of your guests. I used chopped palak to make this crispy vada. Hot cup of coffee or tea with hot vada is very good combo especially on a rainy day.
Steps to make Dal palak vada:
- Clean, wash and soak chana dal in water for 2 hours.
- After two hours drain the water.
- Blend 1/3 chana dal in a mixer to a coarse dal without using water. 1/4 dal roughly crushed.
- Add dal in a bowl.
- Add ginger paste, Chopped onions, coriander leaves, asafoetida, green chilli and salt and pepper in it. Mix properly.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Divide the mixture in to equal portions & round them. - 8. Press these balls between ur palm.
- Deep fry the vadas on medium flame, till they become golden and crispy.
- Drain out on absorbent paper and serve hot green chutney or tomato sauce.
