Steps to make Khira manda:
  1. First of all prepare the stuffing.Heat a pan and put Jaggery in it and when it starts melting add grated coconut and cottage cheese in it and saute it for sometime and then add half of the cardamom powder in it, mix it well and switch off the flame.
  2. Heat a pan and put water in it.
  3. Add salt, sugar and ghee in it and mix it well. When it starts boiling then add the rava in it.
  4. Mix it well in low flame. Stir it continuously till it becomes a dough.After cooling down grease your hand with ghee and then knead the dough well.
  5. Make small balls of it and put the stuffing inside each ball. - -   - -   - - Then put milk in a vessel and allow it to boil for 10 minutes in low flame.
  6. Then put each balls in it milk. Mix sugar,cashew nuts and cardamom powder in it and allow them to boil again for 10 minutes.Switch off the flame. Now your Khira mandas are ready.
