The ingredients needed to make Guava Curry:
- Take 500 grams Ripe Guava Fruit
- Take 1 teaspoon Oil
- Prepare 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- Prepare Pinch Asafoetida
- Get 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- Make ready 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- Take As per taste Salt
- Make ready As per Required Water
- Get 1/2 cup Jaggery
- Take 1 teaspoon Fresh Coriander Chopped
Instructions to make Guava Curry:
- Heat oil in kadai. Add cumin seeds, Asafoetida and turmeric powder. saute it for 30 seconds.
- Cut Guava in medium size pieces and add it into kadai, Add Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder and salt. Add approx 100ml water and mix well. cover the kadai with plate and cook it for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes Add Jaggery pieces and mix it and cook for 5 minutes so the Jaggery can melt and mix with Curry. You can also add chopped tomatoes in this Curry. Turn off the flame.
- Add some chopped coriander and serve it hot with Chapattis or Paratha.
