- These homemade bars can be kept for 6 months and are also a great gift for a diabetic.
- Coconut is a superfood and has very less or no effect on blood sugar levels. But in rare cases a doctor may not recommend coconut to a diabetic. In that case, skip using coconut in this recipe.
- Can also be made for kids without a second thought… just take care of their allergic reactions to nuts though.
